Artwork Specifications

Plastic Laser Printable Cards:

General:

The standard card size is 2-1/8" x 3-3/8". On the card, screens can not exceed 20% in the area of laser imaging. The form can not have solid printing behind the card location. A"knock-out" area, size 3-1/8" x 1-7/8", will need to be produced where the glue will be placed on the form. The lock up area (non-printable area or gap) must be 3/8" on all colors. Lock up should fall on the same area for all colors to ensure good color to color registration on all images. If you are trying to achieve the full form to appear a color a good suggestion is to split the 3/8" on the top and bottom of form so that you have 3/16" of white at top and 3/16" of white at the bottom of form.

Layout for Typesetting:

For all orders requiring typesetting, we require a rough layout showing copy position, color separation and position of variable data. A black and white, camera ready, color separation of any logo must be included. Signatures if applicable, should be on a clean, white sheet of paper using a medium point black pen.

Camera Ready Artwork:

Camera Ready artwork must be color separated, prepared to exact size, and on boards with cut marks and alignment marks. A separate board is required for each piece (i.e. card, form). Screens must be submitted at 100% and the required density noted. We will create the screens in the negatives. Bleeds must be extended 1/8" beyond the cut lines/finished size. All screen bleeds must be extended exactly 1/32" beyond the cut lines/finished size.
